Colosians 3:1-3 says:

1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Well folks! We officially closed out another year, saying goodbye to '2023 and hello to '2024! Alot of people will rejoice over the many blessings and great things that God has done and what he's going to do. But let me make it clear. We can't focus so much on the good and not face the hard facts off reality. Such as the fact that there will be challenging times ahead. Not to sound like doom and gloom, but the word of God says that we'll have trouble and we'll face different trials that we'd face a different times in our lives.

These trials and rough circumstances that we encounter are not here to break us. But as children of God l, we can learn and grow in the time of adversity from these trying times. If everything was peaches and creme, and a bed of rose flowers, then we would melt if any difficulties occurred in our life. That's why, when we are doing this thing called "life", even though we praise God for another year and new beginnings, and hope for many blessings. We still on the other hand have to be realistic and know that we are living in such a time as today, when the times are getting crazier than ever before. When can always walk in faith, hope, peace, and love, trusting God that our lives our in his hands. We don't have to wake up everyday, giving place to fear, doubt, and worry.

Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful".

My point is to live your life everyday and enjoy it one day at a time! Do life with God being Number 1 in it. Draw closer to him everyday and stay busy doing the work of God. There will be things that may grip our hearts with fear until the Lord comes, but just continue to wait on The Lord, trust him, and no that we are more than overcomers! "Greater is He(Jesus)that is in us than he(satan)that's in the world"(1st John 4:4)!

Blessings,
