Nehemiah 8:10"For the Joy of the Lord is your strength" In the days that we live in there is not a lot of joy. There's a lot of confusion and despair. There's a lot of hatred and racism. There is a lot of frustration and jealousy and every other ill feeling that can be listed. But to those of us who are born again, we can draw from the well of joy that comes from God alone. He can renew us and refresh us with his living waters of peace and a sound mind. God wants to give us joy that comes from Him alone. The joy that God gives us no man or thing can take away. Ist Peter 1:8 calls it"Joy unspeakable and full of Glory"! You can't even explain it, because it is supernatural and from above. It's not of this world, but proceeds from the throne of glory! Some look for joy in others only, and material things only. But that produces the joy of this world. And the things of this world shall pass. When you are going through, let Gods joy fill you. Whatever it is, let his joy sustain you! For God's Joy is our strength!
